What we will do
Shiretoko National Park , located on the Shiretoko Peninsula in eastern Hokkaido, is one of Japan's most beautiful and unspoiled national parks.
Shiretoko is located at a 44 degrees latitude, at the same level of Milan or Marseille, but the climate is extremely different. The temperatures of February are comprised between -11°C (12,2°F) and -3°C (26,6°F).
This is hence extremely rare to be able to see drift ice as such a southern latitude.
No worry for the beginners. The experienced guide gives you instructions.

After spending my Engineer Career in Japan for more than 25 years, I left technical field and Tokyo to move to Hokkaido in Shari near Shiretoko, to enjoy nature and my hobby fishing.
I have been fascinated by Shiretoko nature wildlife and Ainu culture and decided to share my experience as nature guide.
I like to talk, discuss and make new friends ! I can speak, English, French and Japanese.
I’m waiting for you in Shiretoko.
I will guide you to discover and experience the wonders of this preserved last natural frontier, named from Ainu Sir’Etok ... End of the Earth
