After multiple pick ups at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, the tour heads straight to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu and Kamakura Komachidori, two of Kamakura's benchmarks in terms of daily life in the city. The Tsurugaoka Hachimangu is the most important shrine dedicated to samurai and Minamoto patron god, Hachiman. Shop to your heart's content in Kamakura Komachidori and make sure to get a kitschy souvenir you can take home to your family and friends. A walk on the site will make you feel you're in rustic, old Japan, thanks to its eclectic mix of little streets, small red bridges over the river, and vintage stairways leading up to small forest shrines. Visit the Taiizan Kotokuin Shojosenji, another beautiful temple with a large statue of Buddha sitting at the center. Next, take the Enoshima Electric Railway from Kamakurakokomae station to Enoshima. The destination is a widely recognizable place for Slam Dunk fans – the railway station even has a memorial spot dedicated to the famous 90s anime classic! Capture the beautiful sunset overlooking the quiet ocean waters of Shonan upon your arrival. The tour ends as you're headed to your service back to your origin destination.
