What we will do

During this one-of-a-kind experience, make ramen in an actual ramen shop setting! This ramen shop has won several awards and is one of Tokyo's best.

Furthermore, get an exclusive look at the inner workings of a Tokyo ramen shop's kitchen. This includes even seeing the giant pot of broth - where all the magic starts!

To make your ramen, you’ll ladle the broth (seasoning and soup), massage the noodles ("temomi"), and then comes most fun part - shaking the water out of the ramen noodles in a “tebo” tool. From here, you’ll place the noodles into the broth and then add toppings and arrange as you like.

Finally, it’s all about eating your ramen creation!

About

Profile photo

Hi, my name is Frank, a Tokyo native obsessed with food…especially ramen. To me, ramen is the ultimate soul food. I operate a blog focused on ramen and food travel.

When I am not eating ramen, I love to to travel, curl up with a good book, or attempt at staying in shape. I am also a huge Lord of the Rings fan.

Where we will meet

South Gate, Naka-Meguro Station (TY 03)

What I will provide

1 Bowl of ramen

I had the most wonderful experience! Frank is very informative, he really is a ramen expert and he is passionate about it. I got the opportunity to be a part of the ramen making while I've learned about its history and the process of making. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn more about the japanese food and colture.
